FTIR Gasmet In-Situ 5.0

As the first company in the world, Gasmet Technologies introduces an In Situ FTIR gas analyser for stack emissions monitoring. The In Situ analyser consists of a sample cell inserted into the stack or duct, heated steel mounting flange and a rugged interferometer unit in an IP65 enclosure that is directly attached to the flange.

The Gasmet In Situ analyser offers a cost-effective alternative for extractive systems in continuous emissions monitoring applications where multiple components are monitored. By combining powerful FTIR technology with rugged in-stack measurement cell, the Gasmet In Situ offers increased analytical capability and reduced cross interference effects when compared with other in-situ analysers.

The Gasmet™ In-Situ analyser consists of a sample cell inserted into the stack or duct, heated steel mounting flange and the rugged GICCOR™ interferometer unit in an IP65 enclosure that is directly attached to the flange. Gasmet™ In-Situ can generate direct 4-20 mA outputs for the measurement results, or alternatively it can be connected to an external PC for further data analysis and logging features.

The Gasmet™ In-Situ offers a cost-effective alternative for extractive systems in continuous emissions & process monitoring where multiple compounds are monitored. Typically, concentrations of H2O, CO2, CO, NO, NO2, N2O, SO2, HCl, HF, NH3, CH4 are continuously monitored with a single Gasmet™ In-Situ. In addition, different VOC’s can be measured as individual compounds. There is no need to do any span calibrations; just daily zero calibration with dry instrument air.

By combining powerful FTIR technology with rugged in-stack measurement cell, the Gasmet™ In-Situ offers increased analytical capability and reduced cross-interference effects when compared with other in-situ analysers.

In-Situ Multicomponent FTIR Gas Analyser

GASMET FTIR In-Situ SERIES includes industrial multicomponent gas analysers for continuous monitoring applications. The GASMET In-Situ 5.0 incorporates a Fourier Transform Infrared spectrometer, a sample cell which is directly inserted into the sample gas flow, and signal processing electronics. The analyser is fully equipped for fixed installations and it offers versatility and high performance for a wide range of applications. Standard In-Situ 5.0 analyzer includes analog outputs 4-20 mA for measuring data and relay contacts for alarms. As an option the In-Situ analyser can be equipped with an external computer unit. In this case the In-Situ employs the same Calcmet user interface as an extractive GASMET CEMS. The sample must be non-condensing and the upper limit for sample temperature is 250 oC. Sample cell absorption path length is 5.0 meters. Insertion depth of the sample probe is

590 mm and the flange diameter is 240 mm.
